Important Notice: Excessive Fuel Prices
To
all Genesis Tours Customers, The
purpose of this letter is to advise you of charges in your future and present
bookings with Genesis Tours. As
all of you are aware, the price of fuel has climb to record levels all across
the United States. These high prices have a tremendous effect on or operation. The
2005 charter rates were based on an average price of $1.90 per gallon.
Unfortunately the unexpected rapid escalation of fuel prices has forced us to
implement a rate plan to offset the higher than normal fuel prices. Although
we have held against the national trend of Motorcoach Companies to add a flat
rate fuel surcharge. We have implemented a fluctuating fuel surcharge to all
reserved and future bookings beginning September 1st 2005. We
will be assessing a 1 percent fuel charge for every 20 cents over $1.90 per
gallon. For a reference, we have outlined the following table explanation.
We
regret the effect that the high cost of fuel has had on all of our lives, and we
appreciate your understanding of our circumstances with fuel being such a major
financial component of or service. If you have any questions please feel free to
call us. Four
weeks prior to the departure of trips fuel prices will be checked according to
the average rates from the Fling J Web site at www.flyingj.com/fuel
